First off, my name is Chantelle, a semi-crunchy, stay-at-home mom, working on opening my own etsy shop, and teacher to our wonderful and beautiful gifts of God.
Hubby is Troy, and let me just say that I am truly blessed in this aspect as well. I couldn't have asked for a better man for myself or our children. He works so hard to provide for our family, and although I know that I don't tell him often enough, I appreciate it so much.
And then there's out drama queen, Alyssa. Alyssa is our bright and beautiful 4.5 year old daughter. She's a performer and tries to make sure that everyone around her is entertained. She is our oldest child and has therefore acted as a sort of Guinea pig as we "perfect" (and I use that term very loosely) our parenting skills.
Next comes Rylan, our 3 year old son, and definitely our wild child. He's our "class clown" and wants everyone around him to be laughing. He's very stubborn and strong willed and has become very good at tuning Mommy and Daddy out, so he has definitely had his fair share of time outs along the way. He is still, however, an absolute joy and the sweetest little boy I've ever met.
Sophia is 9 months old (exactly!) and is out little patriot, being born on Canada Day. She's the happiest little baby I have ever seen, even first thing in the morning! A trait that we're really hoping sticks with her as she grows! She is her siblings pride and joy, and she just adores them!
The newest addition to our happily growing family is due on September 5th! We will find out in 13 days (the countdown is on!) whether we will be adding a baby boy or girl to our gang!
We're a Christian, homeschooling, family-centered, semi-crunchy family. We're just doing our best to make the most of the short time we have while our children are still, well, children.
